Auburn-Williams Baseball Program
The Baseball Program is made up of three leagues:
Coed T-Ball League:
Each team in this league meets on Monday & Wednesday, at Carlin Park (behind Williams Township Hall), beginning May 6, 2024, for six weeks. Boys & Girls (4-5 years of age before 9/1/24) will participate in two weeks of practices then four weeks of games. They will be taught the basics of baseball, how to hit off of a Tee and some soft pitching too. This league does not keep score and plays 2 or 3 innings per game.
Parents are asked to volunteer to coach as many adults are needed to keep these young children attentive to the game. Please mention your interest in coaching at time of registration.
Participants receive a T-shirt and hat (to keep), a participation medal and a year-end team party.
Coed Machine Pitch League (Previously Coach Pitch):
Each team in this league meets on Tues. & Thurs., beginning May 7, 2024 for six weeks. Boys & Girls (6, 7 & 8 years of age before 9/1/24) will participate in several practices and games over a 6-week period. They will be taught the basics of baseball and pitched to by a machine. This league does not keep score and plays 2-3 innings per game.
Parents are asked to volunteer to coach as many adults are needed to keep these young children attentive to the game. Please mention your interest in coaching at time of registration.
Participants receive a T-shirt and hat (to keep), a participation medal and a year-end team party.
Coed Mid-Major League (previously Minor League):
*NEW FOR 2024 THERE IS AN AGE CHANGE FOR THIS LEAGUE. 9 YEAR OLDS WILL HAVE A SKILL EVALUATION AND BE PLACED EITHER IN MACHINE PITCH OR MID-MAJORS. ALSO, 12 YEAR OLDS WILL BE ALLOWED TO PLAY WITH SOME RESTRICTIONS.
This league is for boys and girls 9-12 years of age before of 9/1/24 and meets on Mondays & Wednesdays, at Auburn Park. Practices begin April 8, 2024 and continue for four weeks. Games begin May 9, 2024 and continue through the end of June.
Participants in this league continue to learn the game of baseball and pitch to each other. Players receive a T-shirt, hat and socks (to keep), a participation medal and a team party at the end of the season. (White pull-on baseball pants are required and should be purchased independently. )
