Building Board of Appeals
The Building Board of Appeals hears appeals of a decision (s) made by a plan reviewer or inspector in regard to the application or interpretation of the Michigan Building Code, Michigan Residential Code, Michigan Rehabilitation Code for Existing Buildings, Fire Code, and Housing Code. It also approves the use of alternate materials or construction methods.
